Dear PH Hyundai,
I want to thank you on behalf of all of us here at Jung’s for the wonderful service in parts during the last few months. Time after time, Fernando Reyes has been treating us with dignity ,courtesy , and respect. It’s all the little things that make up great service. A simple return call and superb follow up assistance is very important in our work. We have very demanding customers that do not have patience and need to provide them accurate estimated time of part arrivals. It makes it easier when the parts department takes the time to help . So many other dealerships will be rude and forget we are the customers. I have switched many dealerships for that simple fact. He has never pointed the finger at anyone else and will takes blame for any missed items. I respect honest service and running an Autobody shop , I too ,take full responsibility for any unsatisfactory work. This letter is long overdue and I just wanted to commend Fernando for providing a courteous and gracious service. I just wish every other dealership had the same service. I am so glad to make the switch from Romero Hyundai. Keep up the great work!

Thank you to Kelly and all the folks at Puente Hills Hyundai for allowing the Los Altos High School cross country team to hold a car wash at their dealership last Sunday. We operate on a very small budget, and being able to use the car wash facility free of charge is a great benefit to our team.
We have held four car washes there in the last two years, and they all have been successful events. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Puente Hills Hyundai. They are an asset to our local community.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how immensely impressed I was with the quality of the service I received from Mr. Chan Park in your service department. I have worked with multiple Hyundai dealerships with both my 2003 Tiburon and now my 2011 Genesis, and I have never received such outstanding and professional service as I did with Mr. Chan Park at Puente Hills Hyundai. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Park was there to greet me and took copious notes about my concerns. When I explained that I would be out of town for a week, he graciously offered to keep my car on the lot until I returned. Unfortunately, I was taken ill while in Colorado, and he immediately offered to hold my car until my return. Mr. Park repeatedly left messages updating me on the progress of my car and even arranged for me to pick up my vehicle after the service department had closed to accommodate my evening flight. The quality of service I received would have been rare at a Porsche or Mercedes dealership and I cannot praise Mr. Park enough for his professionalism and kindness. I sincerely appreciate all of his efforts on my behalf and I look forward to a long partnership with Puente Hills Hyundai. Please extend my gratitude to Mr. Park for being a true asset to the Hyundai name.

Hello- I am a new customer to Puente Hills Hyundai and I wanted to relay my experience to you since I was having difficulties getting my review to go through on Edmunds.com. Kelly Chacon, the customer relations manager at the dealership gave me your email address and said it would be ok to let you know of my overall experience.
I had my car serviced a little over a week ago and I wanted you to know that the service was really fantastic. Kelly Chacon set everything up including a car for me to drive while mine was being worked on for five days. She navigated the entire process from beginning to end flawlessly. Her communication was outstanding. She made sure to stay in contact with me with updates as to what had been done on my car, and what was left to be completed. She answered any and all questions I had repeatedly with the utmost of intelligence and professionalism. The tech that worked on my car Javier was also fantastic. He introduced himself to me and said he would be working on my car the day I dropped it off. Javier even called me twice to let me know how everything was coming and what sort of parts were replaced. He was also awesome and deserves recognition for his outstanding work done on my car.
I cannot say enough about the service and kind greeting I received from the first day I arrived onto the showroom floor. The reception was even nice. I must say that I would drive further to your dealership again and again, as opposed to going to Hyundai right here in the South Bay area. Everything from the service staff to customer service at Puente Hills Hyundai doesn't compare to any other dealership. I thank Kelly again for everything she did in helping out when it was needed. She was there and most definitely made sure my needs were taken care of.

Buying a car from Puente Hills Hyundai was a very nice experience. My sales person John Madarang was very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a black Elantra Limited (sold out everywhere) for a few months. John kept me updated with his inventory and notified me immediately when there was one available. The whole transaction was fast and easy. I will highly recommend John and Puente Hills Hyundai to everyone who is looking for a Hyundai. 5+ Stars to John Madarang and PH Hyundai.

I wanted to share my thoughts about your employee John Madarang. Mr. Madarang and I started corresponding via email about my potential purchase of a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Since our first email/phone conversation Mr. Madarang was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. He made my husband and I feel like we had known him for years. He was very easy to talk to and offered as much detail as possible about all of the cars we were interested in. Over the past few weeks we visited several dealerships, but John made our decision about who we wanted to purchase from very easy. He walked us through the entire process and was very accommodating the entire time. It is employees like Mr. Madarang that make the car buying experience a pleasant one. Once in a blue moon you may be lucky to have a business move into your community for which all those who live there are richer because of their partnership with their new neighbors. Just as there are individuals working silently in the background to make their community a better place, there are also businesses that serve their community. Puente Hills Hyundai, under the guidance of the General Manager, Cherie Watters, has made that impact on the surrounding communities of Rowland and Hacienda Heights, La Puente and City of Industry in California.
Over the past several years this dealership has supported local schools, civic organizations, and a variety of non-profits in a myriad of ways, often done quietly without any fanfare. They do it just because it is the right thing to do. Whether it is a community BBQ with the local Kiwanis Club, free car washes sponsored by individuals with disabilities, or financial generosity to multiple tax-free organizations and local schools, Puente Hills Hyundai has been there to lend a helping hand.
Puente Hills Hyundai currently cares for my 2002 Hyundai because we know part of what we pay will flow back to our community. Notice that we used the word careÂÂÂÂÂÂ and not service This is because we know we can trust them, they will charge us for what needs to be done, not what they can charge us. Our Hyundai is getting old and we plan to purchase a new Hyundai from Puente Hills Hyundai.
We have no financial ties to this dealership, but since we are involved in many community activities, we have developed a relationship with Puente Hills Hyundai. We hope that other businesses in the community can learn from Ms Watters, and Hyundai Corporation, that being a good neighbor and community partner is good business. They got it right!

After being turned away from other dealers my sister brought me here
Upon arrival we were greeted by their friendly receptionist, unlike other dealers when you pull up and get ate-en alive.
Jinie, was so nice and sat with me she took the time to hear me out and work with me. after filling out my finance application we waited in the most comfortable lounge ever, it was well equipped with a large flat screen couches computers with Internet, food and they even have a spot for kids to play. While updating my Facebook status Jinie Ahn handed me my keys..... I was amazed! Such great service!
Lynn Johnson, She is amazing as well... she did every thing in her power to get me a car, and to fit my tight budget.
These Lady's are Angels, they truly made my day!

I had a great experience! I now own a black 2011 Genesis Coupe.
Free car washes on Saturdays 8 - 2. No, it wasn't like the detailed wash when I first purchased the car, but "free" nonetheless. The waiting area is nice, TV, 2 computers, refreshments. They had Krispy Kreme donuts this Saturday.
I have to say, customer service is a plus here.
So far so good...

Hyundai, who would have thought I would leased a Hyundai a few years ago, let a lone a Tucson. I went to this dealership and the Assistant Sales Manger let me test drove the 2010 Tucson, because I saw it on line and saw the commercials. The 2010 Tucson is brand new design and I was told Hyundai strip down the previous year model and redesigned and built it from ground zero, let me tell you it feels and looks like a mini Lexus SUV to me.
I went back that evening with my wife to test drive it again and we ended up leasing a 2010 Tucson Limited Edition, fully loaded.
I was told by the Assistant Sale Manger that I can get a free car wash once a week for as long as I own my Hyundai. It actually saves me about $15.00 plus tips for each car wash and how can I beat that.
Most of dealerships will give you a free car wash if you take your car in for service, but at Puente Hills Hyundai (PHH) you don't have to service your car to get a free car wash, just drive in and tell them you need a car wash and no question ask they wash it for free. Now that is service to me, oh they also do free oil change.
I feel very comfortable with PHH crew, every body is very friendly and I have got to know the Sales Manager (John Kela) and he makes me feel like we have been friends for a long time, they treat me like a family member. Each time I have been to PHH I feel comfortable with the way they treat me and I feel comfortable with the dealership.
As far as my experience with PHH I highly recommended PHH for your next car purchase.

I am actually immensely impressed, I had an exceptional experience here. I cannot stress enough why there is so much of a difference between going here -over- pretty much any other dealership out there...
After driving to several no-name dealerships as well as other Hyundai dealerships, I was a bit nervous coming here since before I was either pressured to buy something I wasn't comfortable with or I was snubbed because of my financial situation.
At the dealership, someone promptly came out to shake my hand, offer some free bottled water, and answer my questions. I advised I spoke with someone on the phone and sure enough that person, Dimitri, came out fast and greeted my husband and I with probably the best professional and friendly service I've had anywhere. He didn't start with the usual, basic "who are you and what car do you think we're gonna give you" attitude. He started right into talking about the car I actually wanted and a bit about the dealership itself.
While I was test driving, this salesman knew so much knowledge about the car as well as every other car on the lot, he was very honest, and best of all, UNDERSTANDING!! He was very relaxed and mellow, taking his time with us. I've been to other Hyundai dealerships and they shoo'ed me away and rushed to other 'better-looking' potential customers.
I think that was the highlight of my visit was the fact that I let them know I lost my job (currently had none) had a repo, didn't have a lot to put down, and my credit was *ridiculously* shot. He just assured they were there to help and to get us a car, and they really are out to help anyone no matter how your credit/financial status sits. Also John Kelas was another great employee that was very polite and professional without being the 'interrogative' salesman. He started up a conversation w/ my hubby just getting to know us a bit better.
Just like the 1st reviewer mentioned;
-Free car washes and oil changes for customers who buy a car from them
-If you're trading your car in, and it's a Hyundai, they will give you an extra $1000 towards the trade in JUST for it being a Hyundai
-$14 oil changes
-Free car washes on weekends for any Hyundai owners on Saturdays between 12-4
...just a few of the many reasons I'm recommending this awesome dealership.
Another interesting fact about this dealership is that they deal with over 40 different banks all with different criteria. If one bank turns you down, they'll keep looking until someone says yes. And if anything, they have in-house financing if your money situation is right.
They really have an attitude about not letting you leave empty-handed and disappointed. They'll make sure they can work something out with you. The idiot that I am realized that I did not have my tax return in my hands yet, so I'm excited to go back next week and pick out a car if the one I initially wanted is no longer available.
Taking care of their customers by establishing trust and friendly service is the #1 reason I would recommend anyone to go here. You can buy a car anywhere, but you might as well go somewhere where they're going to pamper you, right?

I wanted to express just how impressed I was with your staff and service. I have been looking for a new car for almost a month with multiple trips to different dealerships. I was literally on the verge of giving up from the frustration of not getting what I wanted or just horrible service. My story with your dealership began with a simple call to MJ, after multiple emails and phone calls I was ready to take the 45 minute drive from Loma LInda to your dealership. I missed MJ today but was not before MJ referring me to Steve Chang, before hanging up MJ was excited to tell me that you guys had the car that I was inquiring about that other dealerships did not have. I was looking for a GLS with the popular equipment package and navigation. Although I was looking for a phantom black with camel interior, I was pleased with my new black plum with camel interior. Steve was not only efficient but knew exactly what I wanted, Steve was courteous and really had what I call "empathy and
rapport". I have to be honest and say that it was Steve that tipped me over in buying the car right there on the spot. My process was so streamlined that I was so surprised to see everything done within a couple of hours. I have been at a different dealership waiting for more than 3 hours just to get a idea on my payments, this was not even the case with your dealership. I am so pleased with my purchase from Puente HIlls Hyundai that I will definitely pass the word around and refer them when they see my new sonata.
Ms Watters being a physician I am a huge proponent on efficiency and accuracy. If I had to put a phrase for your dealership it would be "They cut the fat, but kept the facts." There was no fluff or extra steps, you guys knew your cars and were ready to do business with all your customers. All of this reflects leadership and I commend you on your leadership. I can tell that you are a general manager that strives for excellence and when there is something that you can excell further on I know you will. My processing was so fast that I feel that the interior of my car was a little neglected. Having a camel interior stains are an eye sore, I had a grease stain on the back left passenger seat that I pointed out, which was promptly cleaned, after taking the car off the lot I noticed another stain on my front passenger seat and also grease smears on my window button and right interior handle. I tried to get some of it out but wasn't able to completely, I am still trying to get some of the smears out, I think these were left by either mechanics or someone that had sat in the car. From a QI standpoint I think that a thorough interior check especially on those with light colored interior will improve on misses like this. I didn't have more time to spend on taking those stains out but I hope so next week when I get back from my out of state trip. This small flaw does not tarnish the great service and professionalism that I received. I hope you will share this with your staff and encourage them to keep doing what they are doing. I took a Hyundai Elantra in for a simple oil change recently. The service adviser let me know it was the lunch hour and i might have to wait. I said 'ok.'
He mentioned the car was overdue for the 15,000m service. I declined and told him it had been done early. He didn't question my word. He didn't say much at all, really. But he was courteous and polite as he wrote up my oil change in his little cubicle.
I waited over an hour, i suppose. They have plenty of comfortable seating in the waiting area, and courtesy coffee and snacks and hot dogs and bottled water. They also have a big screen TV. I also noticed it was quiet in the building, and it was clean and bright. Employees seemed happy and busy.
When the oil change was completed i was happy to see it included a comprehensive inspection of major components and systems. All fluids were topped off, and a free car wash was also included. However i declined it, being pressed for time. Best of all when it came time to leave, the service adviser walked me to the cashier and found no one there. He turned and said "you know what, I am going to give you this at no charge."
That's right, FREE! I don't know if its because of the previous wait for the car, the current wait for the cashier, or he just does this sometimes. And while the bill was just over $20, it still came as a very pleasant surprise. No fanfare as i thanked him, just "this one's on us," and he walked away.
Needless to say they have earned a customer. Smart way of doing business.

Today I was a woman on a mission. My unemployed plan to a productive day was:
#1 - Visit my local Hyundai dealership to have a recall warning checked
#2 - Seek out a low cost lube place for the least expensive oil change I could find
#3 - Save a few more bucks by making my way home for a self-performed car wash
#4 - Pillage my mom's fridge for a free leftover lunch
